It was no surprise that the opening night of Jenifa In London was sold out! Award winning Actress, Comedian & Producer Funke Akindele Bello has set a new tone for Nollywood Premieres in London. 

Funke Akindele Bello hit the red carpet hand in hand with her husband JJC and fellow cast mate Lolo1 (Omotunde Adebowale-David) who plays Adaku. JENIFA IN LONDON cast members Jack Loyator, Bunmi Mojekwu, Oyinbo Princess also hit the red carpet, they were followed by Afrobeat Sensation; Mr Eazi. 

Jenifa in London was a huge hit amongst fans. Laughter echoed throughout The Lighthouse, from start to finish, fans were glued to the screens. Jenifa in London received a standing ovation, Funke Akindele Bello was overwhelmed and thanked London fans for their continuous support and love. She also gave a special thanks to sponsors and organisers Phoenix Global Media. The show was closed by Mr Eazi, who thrilled Jenifa fans with a surprise performance.

The London gala premiere of Michael Ibiayo's URBAN RHYTHM was held last friday at the Lighthouse venue in Camberwell, London. The evet which was hosted by Dj Abass featured a red carpet that buzzed all night and was 'glammed' up by the cast and crew, invited celebs and industry personalities. Urban Rhythm is an Afrobeats movie shot in the UK telling the story some musicians (most of whom played themselves) and their road to stardom. The movie starred Lateef Lovejoy, Material, Maydaz, Taiya Soul, Yvonne Hays, Deejay Gabe, Bayoz Musik, Zeeza Sadiq and a host of other. It was produced by Yinka Kuponiyi & Siji Akindolire, and directed by Michael Ibiayo. More photos after cut....

A private media screening was held on Tuesday 9th of September 2014 for Michael Ibiayo’s Urban Rhythm film at Odeon Greenwich. In attendance were top media and entertainment industry personalities and executives who had the opportunity to see the movie for the first time.
