The romantic flick THE PERFECT MAN (12A) will premiere in London on Friday, 12^th, June, 2015 at Odeon cinema Greenwich. The movie which also stars the producer Diana Childs also features UK acts Ikenna Obi, Ashley Holland, Ken Smart,  Toni Adams, Tara Nwachukwu. and a host of others.  The movie which was shot entirely in the UK  has a 12A classification for viewing.  Confirmed guests at the London premiere include publisher of Ovation magazine Chief Dele Momodu and UK media and industry personalities

OKEY BAKASSI TO HOST IGBO NEW YAM FESTIVAL, CORK IRELAND 2015

OKEY BAKASSI

 Ace actor and comedian Okey Bakassi is confirmed to host this years’ edition of Igbo New Yam Festival holding in the city of Cork, Republic of Ireland. The event which comes up on Sunday, 2, August at Cork City Hall will feature Igbo cultural activities which will include dances, music, fashion and the official cutting of the ‘new yam’.

The Igbo New Yam Festival is an annual event held at the end of the rainy season in early August. The festival is an event symbolizing the conclusion of a harvest and the beginning of the next work cycle. The celebration is a very culturally based occasion, tying individual Igbo communities together as essentially agrarian and dependent on yam.

It was an exceptional night of glitz and glamour at the London premiere of Yinka Idowu's HUNTING 4 HUBBIES which held last Friday 27th March at Odeon Cinema, Greenwich, the 'Mecca of African Movies in the UK'. In attendance were the entire cast and crew of the movie which included the director Yinka Idowu, producer/writer Jagwah Jaiye, actor/Dj Amour Owolabi and former Big Brother UK housemate Victor Ebuwa. Glam Africa held a casting call in London three weeks ago to select models for the forthcoming Glam Africa Fashion Night event taking place this Sunday, 22^nd Feb in London. Twenty two (22) models out of almost hundred were finally selected by the judging panel, and with the help of public votes, these girls were shortlisted to the final ten all of whom will model the collections of the six designers showcasing at the event.

The organisers of Glam Africa Fashion Night 2015 have announced six fashion design houses participating at its debut event on Sunday, 22^nd of February at Porchester Hall, London.

They are namely Yemi Osunkoya’s Kosibah, Tina Lobondi, Kwame Koranteng, Feyisola Adeyemi’s Simply  Glamourous Fashion (SGF), Larissa Meat’s Larissa Mode and Elizabeth’s Eldimaa Fashion.
